Career Background
For as long as he can remember, art has been an integral part of Cesar's life. Surrounded by the creativity of comics, film, and music, Cesar was drawn to artistic expression from an early age. His formal journey began at the Art Institute of Vancouver, pursuing a career in video games. Although that path wasn’t meant to be, it only fueled his passion for drawing and painting. While attending Kwantlen Polytechnic University, he discovered screen printing and, with determination, mastered the craft. Soon after, he started working as a screen printer, marking the beginning of his design career. Over a decade in the screen-printing industry solidified his love for design and illustration, inspired by iconic artists such as Ken Taylor, Tyler Stout, Matt Taylor, and Brian Ewing.
Their influence inspired him to embark on a new path—transforming from a junior amateur graphic designer to a seasoned, accomplished professional. Recognizing the value of education, he sought out the training that would shape his skills and vision. This pursuit led him to Infocus Film School, where he found the structured learning and mentorship needed to refine his craft and develop into the graphic designer he aspired to be. With a deep-rooted passion for illustration and an insatiable drive for growth, he continually seeks to polish his artistic skills and take on bigger, more challenging projects. Fueled by creativity and ambition, Cesar is committed to pushing boundaries and evolving his design expertise with each new endeavor.
