He's Batman.
A fun project during InFocus Film School, we were given the task to design a plastic free package of our choice. My inner child was ecstatic at the opportunity to design a toy package. I chose the 1989 Batman figure- a tribute to one of my first ever action figure and a nostalgic piece close to my heart. This Batman figure holds a special meaning for me; it was a gift from my mom and dad during a hospital stay, accompanied with the Batmobile as a get well surprise.
That memory sparked a lifelong love for Batman. Designing this package was not only my first experience with package design but also a deeply personal project. Using references from past Kenner and Toy Biz package designs, I aimed to create something that preserved the excitement of unboxing an action figure without relying on plastic packaging. While there are rooms for touch ups, I'm really pleased with how the design highlight both the figure and my connection to it, capturing the essence of that early Batman magic.
